(IID Director in the hospital)....Division 3 Director James Hanks is reportedly in a San Diego area hospital.

Details have not been made available. Reports are that the Imperial Irrigation District Board President has been in the Hospital for much of this week. Sources expect him to be released from the hospital in the next couple of days, in time for the Tuesday IID Board meeting. Without going into details, the reports are that Hanks is dealing with some health issues. Hanks has served on the IID Board of Directors since 2006. His term is up for election in June. He has not said if he plans to seek another term.
