(Border Patrol Rescues 4)....It happened Wednesday morning.

At around 2:40 in the morning agents were notified that a lost female had used her cell phone to contact 911. Border Patrol agents responded to the last known GPS coordinates provided. At around 9:27 that morning agents were able to find a total of four individuals in the Jacumba Wilderness region. They were about 2 miles north of the US/Mexico border. A wellness check was performed on all four. It was determined none of the individuals possessed the required documents to be in the US legally. They were all transported to the El Centro Processing Center. Since October, El Centro Border Patrol agents have successfully rescued 112 individuals who were lost, in distress or abandoned by smugglers.
