(Gusty winds usher in weather system)....The winds began Monday morning.

The National Weather Service says a Wind Advisory will be in effect Monday afternoon into the night. Gusts in the deserts could reach 55 miles per hour. Strong gusty winds in the Mountain areas could range between 55 and 65 miles per hour Monday afternoon and into the night. There will be a slight chance for rain throughout the day Tuesday, with increased chances Tuesday night and Wednesday. Winds should diminish Monday night. Periodic wind gusts up to 40 miles per hour will continue Tuesday and Wednesday.
