A man was arrested attempting to burglarize an El Centro house.

Police were called at about 1:23 a.m. Wednesday when a homeowner's RING camera system alerted him to a burglary in progress. The homeowner, who was not at home at the time, assisted police in locating the suspect in the house. The video showed that the burglar had entered the house after breaking a window. The burglar was arrested and then cited and released for burglary.
