A Brawley man died in a traffic accident Wednesday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the 41-year-old man was riding a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound on Highway 86 when he was hit by a car. The car, driven by 66-year-old Amin Abdelmoien of Brawley, was westbound on Kalin Road and pulled onto Highway 86 into the path of the motorcycle. The motorcycle rider, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
