Employees of an El Centro fast food restaurant called police when they noticed someone asleep behind the wheel.

The incident occurred at about 3:50 a.m. Wednesday. Employees at McDonalds reported that a car was facing the drive-thru window and the engine was running with the driver's foot on the brake. The driver had passed out. Police approached the man and were able to determine he was under the influence. He was cited and released on charges of Driving Under the Influence. The car was towed.
