(COVID 19 numbers updated)....County Public Health Department updated the numbers Thursday morning.

According to the new numbers, the active cases of COVID 19 have decreased. There are now 3,926 active cases in Imperial County, as compared to 4,207 cases reported Tuesday. There are currently 97 COVID positive patients hospitalized.  27 of those are in Intensive Care. The Health Department says there are no Intensive Care beds availalke in the county.. 47 ventilators are in use countywide. Deaths attributed to the virus are now at 829, up from 823 reported on Tuesday. Total vaccine doses administered in Imperial County are now at almost 384,000.
