(El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents seize a lot of meth)....It happened late last week.

The El Centro agents were working in the Indio area. The agents conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 10, near the Dillion Road exit. A Border Patrol K-9 Detection Team was dispatched to assist the agents. The Team alerted to the rear of the Dodge Journey. During the inspection, agents found a box with several bundles inside. They also found a duffle bag behind the drivers seat, that also contained similar bundles. The bundles tested positive for methamphetamine. Thye seized bundles weighed 46.5 pounds, with an estimated value of almost $163,000. The driver was arrested and the vehicle and narcotics were seized.
