(Brawley Actor on T.V.)...ABC is launching a new television drama.

It is unique in that it stars a primarily Latin cast. Promised Land is an epic, generation spanning drama about a Latinx family vying for wealth and power in California's Sonoma County. The series stars John Ortiz as Joe Sandoval, Cecilia Suarez as Lettie Sandoval, and Bellamy Young as Margret Honeycroft. Brawley native E. Ambriz De Colosio plays a recurring role of Foreman Gonzo. DeColosio was raised in the Imperial Valley, performing his first play in Brawley and graduating from Brawley Union High School. He was part of a migrant family. He has participated in the IV Film Festival. He represented Blindspotting the movie and won Best Actor for his film Mi Tierra, as well as Best Picture for the same film at the Festival. The new television program debuts Tonight on ABC, and will stream on HULU
