The National Weather Service says the next window for more widespread rain begins early Thursday and lasts through Friday.
NWS sys light to moderate rain showers are very likely Thursday through Friday in the Imperial and Yuma Valleys. Conditions will begin to dry late Friday, with breezy conditions Saturday and freezing temperatures possible in low-laying parts of the Valley Sunday morning. Rainfall amounts will be in the 0.01 - 0.50 range. Snow is anticipated in the higher elevations of San Diego County.
