(COVID over the holiday weekend)...It is too early to tell if there was a surge or not.

Health officials say it could be days or even a week before that information is available. Information that is available indicates there are now 46 COVID positive patients hospitalized in Imperial County. 21 of them are in Intensive Care. Residents continue to vaccinate. There are now over 300,000 vaccine doses administered countywide. COVID vaccinations are available in several clinics, pharmacies and at the Public Health Department. Testing is also available at clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies and at the county mobile test center at Stark Field in El Centro.
