(Millions in grant funds to Behavioral Health)... A resolution was approved by the county recently.

The resolution authorizes Imperial County Behavioral Health Services to accept approved Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration Grant funds. The fu8nds are for the implementation of the two year Casa Serena Project. The implementation of Casa Serena will be an added resource for those individuals who do not meet the criteria for involuntary hold, but need interventions to help them focus on identifying the issues that have constributed to the escalation of their symptoms. This project will provide outreach and engagement and support to help clients develop the skills needed to succeed in our community.
