The Imperial Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce held a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Thursday evening.

The Imperial Valley Regional Chamber represents Westmorland , Imperial and El Centro as the three separate chambers merged to form the entity. The Thursday night ceremonies included the introduction of President Anne Irigoyen , Vice President Bari Smith Bean , Board Treasurer Michelle Hollinger , and  Executive Board Members Victor Nava and Juanita Rebollar. The Board of Directors for the regional chamber includes Brenda Estrada , Sherry Cowie , Lizandro Escobosa , Rafael Galvan , Justina Cruz , Mark Gran and Efrain Silva. The Chief Executive Officer is Daniel Sohn. The mission states , " The Imperial Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce will be dedicated to serving Imperial Valley businesses and promoting community prosperity through advocacy , economic development , connectivity , and business education." The vision is " Building a prosperous and cooperative community through business leadership".
