El Centro Police are investigating a stabbing reported Thursday evening.

The call came in at about 6:30 p.m. with a report of a man with a stab wound to his arm. The victim told officers that he was stabbed about 20 minutes prior to the call. The suspect in the assault was described as a Hispanic man , about 25-years old , wearing a blue shirt , white pants and a white cap. Police are reviewing video from security cameras in the area.
