The latest information from the Imperial County Public Health Department show a slight increase in the number of COVID-19 cases.

As of Tuesday morning , there are 379 active cases of the coronavirus in Imperial County with 26 patients hospitalized , 9 individuals in Intensive Care Units. These numbers are slightly higher than the information released last Thursday. So far , there have been 754 deaths attributed to the COVID-19 virus. The COVID-19 vaccine is available at local health care providers and a number of local pharmacies and also at Community Vaccine Clinics Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Imperial County Complex on South 4th Street in El Centro, As of Tuesday morning over 250,000 doses of the vaccine have been administered in the Valley.
