(Local Ballots)....They are still being counted in Imperial County.

The Recall issue has been settled statewide. Locally the election report is not official until all the ballots have been counted. An unofficial report was released the night of the election. Since then more ballots have been counted and while the outcome remains the same, the voter turnout has gotten better. The turnout is now at 17.45%. It is still low, but a little better than the 16% reported on the night of the election. Officials have not said how many ballots still need to be counted before the report is official.
