The number of active cases of COVID 19 continue to fluctuate. According to the numbers released Thursday, active cases are now down to 219. Of those, 16 are hospitalized, 5 are in Intensive Care. The number of deaths attributed to the virus in Imperial County are now at 746. There number of variants of concern found in Imperial County is at 251. There have been 46 cases of the Delta variant reported in the county.
