(San Diego Man Missing in the mountains)....The 41 year old has been missing since last weekend.

Officials say Derek Barge was staying at the De Anza Springs Resort. He was last seen last Saturday night, and was last heard from later that night. He had spoken to his mother over the phone. His vehicle and belongings were found at the Resort. His phone and charger were found at5 a trail head. Campers at the Resort reported Barge missing Sunday morning. He had expressed an interest in hiking a trail known as Temple Peak. Officials say Barge appeared intoxicated when he was last seen at the resort's bar and lounge. They say he also appeared disoriented with a knot on the back of his head and a cut on his left shoulder. Volunteers, a sheriff's helicopter and a Border Patrol BORSTAR unit have searched for the man since he was reported missing, to no avail. The search was scaled back Tuesday because of the high temperatures and dangerous terrain
