A U. U. Border Patrol canine team found meth , marijuana , and a loaded handgun this week.
The canine team alerted to a car at about 2:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Highway 95 checkpoint. A search of the interior of the car led to the discovery of about one-half pound of marijuana , drug paraphernalia and a loaded 9 mm handgun. A search of the car's occupants led to methamphetamine in the driver's pocket. The driver , a 38-year old woman from Colorado , and the passenger , 1 41-year old man from California , both U.S. citizens , were arrested
