The U.S. Geological Survey recorded a minor earthquake in the Imperial Valley northend.

The earthquake was reported at 12:44 p.m. Wednesday and registered 3.6. The temblor was centered about 14 miles north northwest of Brawley. There are no reports of injuries or damage from the minor earthquake.
