The Baja California Government has announced Sanitary Filters will be in place Thursday through Sunday. That is when border inspections are tightened for those going into Mexicali. Travelers are being asked to be patient. It is going to take a long time to get across the border into Mexicali while the Sanitary Filters are in place. If you are thinking of spending Spring Break in San Felipe be aware, officials have tightened safety restrictions. As of this week, the Boardwalk in San Felipe is closed to the public
