A man teaching his wife how to drive did not end well.

Shortly after 3:00 a.m. Wednesday El Centro Police were dispatched to an accident in the 1500 block of West Main Street. A car had crashed into a palm tree. The car sustained major front end damage. A man told officers that he was teaching his wife how to drive and they crashed into the tree. The woman , apparently uninjured , walked back home. The husband made arrangements to have the car towed.
