(State follows the IRS)...Procrastinators have another month.

The IRS recently extended the deadline to file income tax to May 17. The normal deadline is April 15. The Franchise Tax Board has announced they, too, are extenting the deadline to file State taxes. it is the same as the IRS, May 17. They say the extension applys to everyone and no special extensions need to be requested.
