(Numbers steady)....The latest COVID 19 update was released Friday morning.

The numbers are provided by the County Public Health Department. The Active cases of COVID 19 in Imperial County is at 54, three more than wgat was reported Thursday. Deaths attributed to COVID 19 are now at 688. There are 16 COVID 19 positive patients hospitalized in Imperial County, with seven of those in Intensive Care. There are 8 ICU beds available in the county. The new cases per day per 100,000 population is at 2.61, down from 2.91 reported Thursday. The positivity rate is also down, at 5.56% as compared to 6.95% previously reported.
