(Active COVID cases decrease)....The latest numbers were released Friday morning.

The numbers are provided by the County Public Health Department. According to the new numbers, active cases of COVID 19 in Imperial County are at 114. That is down from 133 cases reported Thursday. Deaths attributed to the virus have increased by 3, they are now at 639. There are now 20 COVID positive patients Hospitalized in the County, two less than what was reported Thursday. There are 8 COVID 19 positive patients in Intensive Care. There are 6 ICU beds availablke in the county. The new cases per day per 100,000 population is now at 7.68, down from 8.35 previously reported. The positivity rat is now at 10.42%, as compared to 11.11% reported on Thursday.
