(Thursday COVID 19 Update)...The numbers are released by the County Public Health Department.

According to the Thursday update, active cases of COVID 19 in Imperial County are now at 118. That is down from 121 cases reported Wednesday. The number of deaths in the County attributed to COVID 19 is now at 587, one more than what was previously reported. There are 27 COVID 19 patients hospitalized in Imperial County, down 2 from the Wednesday report. There are 10 COVID 19 positive patients in the ICU. There are 5 ICU beds available in the County. The new cases per day per 100,000 population is at 6.11, down from 6.49 reported on Wednesday. The positivity rate has gone up to 15.13%, compared to 14.9% previously reported.
