A second mass vaccination clinic is scheduled for Friday.

The Imperial County Public Health Department will host the drive-thru clinic on the campus of Imperial Valley College from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The clinic is for Imperial County residents 65 years of age or older and is by appointment only. The Health Department opened registration for the clinic Thursday morning and within minutes all 1,500 appointments were filled. If you were lucky enough to get through the online registration site you are asked to arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to your appointment , wear a short sleeved shirt and expect to wait at least 15 minutes after the injection for observation.
