The National Weather Service (NWS ) says there’s a good chance of rain in the Imperial Valley by Tuesday night.

According to the latest forecast , a dynamic weather system will move through the region Tuesday through Thursday. The greatest chance of rain is Tuesday and Wednesday with moderate to heavy rainfall possible. Gusty winds and possibly isolated thunderstorms are possible within this weather system. Temperatures will dip to the mid-sixties Tuesday and Wednesday before climbing to the low seventies Thursday. Another weather system with the chance of more precipitation will return Friday night.
