It was a case of Buyer Beware and another of Seller Beware.

El Centro Police received a report from a woman who was selling a cellphone to a man who responded to her SnapChat ad. The man and woman met and the man examined the phone and said he wanted to show it to a friend before buying. He left with the phone and the woman never saw him of the phone again. The iPhone is valued at $600.00

Later Monday a man reported that he bought a car advertised on eBay. His money was gone and no car was delivered. The man told police that he sent the seller $1,200. He said he saw the vehicle posted for sale again on eBay.
