The City of El Centro says it a victim of the pandemic. The annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Street Fair normally scheduled in December has been canceled. The City says the decision was not arrived lightly, as they enjoy organizing events that bring friends and families together to share in the happiness of the Holiday Season. They say safety will always b the number one priority and they should always continue to be responsible and follow all State and County guidelines. The City is asking residents to scale down their Holiday celebrations to smaller gatherings and to stay home, wear your mask and remember to social distance to help prevent the spread of COVID 19.
