The ImperIal County Registrar of Voters has issued an update adorn the November 3 General Election.  

As of Thursday evening approximately 2,000 unprocessed vote-by-mail and 7,000 provisional ballots remain to be counted. Vote-by-mail ballots may be received by the Registrar’s office through November 20,2020. The election must be certified by December 3, 2020 by State mandate. 
Two races remain very tight. The second seat on the Heber Elementary School District Board is between Helen Diaz Molina with 612 votes and Claudette J. Miranda just 6 votes back with 606.

The third seat in the El Centro City Council race is between Efrain Silva and Edgard Garcia. Silva leads by 5 votes 4,357 to 4,352.
