(Thursday COVID update)....The County Public Health Department released the update.

According to the update, New Cases are down slightly. Positivity sees an increase. The New Cases Per Day Per 100,000 Population is now at 26.09, down from the 27.95 reported Wednesday. The Positivity rate increases to 17.03 %, from the 14.43% reported Wednesday. Deaths as a result of COVID 19 have increased to 340, up from th previously reported 338. There are now 448 Active Cases of COVID 19 in Imperial County, up from the 429 reported Wednesday. Imperial County has now tested over 80,000 for the virus. The Thursday update indicates 80,297 have now tested. Of those, 13,330 have tested positive. Of those, 12,542 have recovered.
