(Board of Supervisors weekly meeting)….It will be held Tuesday morning.

The Board convenes into public session at 10:00 am. The Board will hear an update on COVID 19 from the County Health Department. They will discuss the Needs Assessment of county policies and practices regarding African American and other disenfranchised communities and development of sustainability roadmap, as presented by Marlene Thomas, with the Imperial Valley Social Justice Committee. They will discuss $298,590 in grant funds from USDA Rural Assistance for the purchase of equipment and vehicles as requested by County Fire Chief Alfredo Estrada Jr. Commissioner Jayne Harkins of the US Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission will discuss New River issues. And the Board will discuss a letter from US Representative Juan Vargas.
