(28 year old arrested)..She was caught trying to smuggle methamphetamine

. She had driven up to the Highway 86 checkpoint Sunday morning. A Border Patrol K-9 Team alerted to the vehicle and it was sent to the secondary inspection area. A detailed search resulted in the discovery of 60 packages wrapped in tape. They were found hidden in the vehicle’s floorboard, back seat and rocker panels. The contents tested positive for methamphetamine. The narcotics weighed over 148 pounds, with an estimated value of $334,372. The woman, the vehicle and the meth were all turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
