(Body found)…It was discovered by a passer-by Wednesday.

They called 911 to report a man lying on the lawn of a home, bleeding from the ears. County fire responded to the call. They arrived at the house in the 2100 block of First Street in Bombay Beach. They determined the man was dead and called the County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies interviewed several people and determined the man, identified as only a 51 year old male, was not a resident at the home where he was found. An investigation is underway. The County Coroner’s Office will perform an autopsy to determine a cause of death.
