(Earthquake swarm)…It has rattled a lot of nerves
. The swarm began at 3:48 Monday morning in Calipatria. There were several micro-quakes and one small quake, magnitude 3.2. At 8:00 am the swarm moved further north between Niland and Bombay Beach, the largest at 8:10 in the morning, a magnitude 4.0. That was followed by several micro-quakes, magnitude 2.9 and below. There are no reports of damage or injury. The US Geological Survey has said swarms are not that unusual in the area.
