(Imperial Post Office to move)….That is no surprise.

The Postal Service held a public meeting on the issue in September 2019. They have now issued a press release, saying a location has been found. The Post Office will move to 820 North Imperial Avenue. There are two reasons for the move. The property where the current Post Office is located is leased and the property owner does not want to renew the leas. Also, the Post Office says they have out-grown their current building. The Postal Service says service will not be interrupted. The current facility will continue to operate until the new facility is opened for business. They have not said when they plan to have the new Post Office open.
