The City of El Centro will begin the first phase of a project to replace an existing sanitary sewer line along Imperial Avenue between Adams Avenue and Brighton Avenue. The first phase will begin on Monday , June 14 and is called pot holing. Pot holing consists of excavating small areas to determine the vertical/horizontal positioning of other underground utilities. Lane closures are expected between  8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. but Imperial Avenue will remain open. The pot holing is expected to run through July 10, 2020. The entire project is expected to be completed by December 30, 2020.
