(Border Patrol seizes meth)…There were two incidents.
The first was t around 4:00 am Tuesday. Agents observed an illegal alien enter the United States illegally by climbing over the Border Fence. The subject was seen throwing a black vest into the front yard of a home on First Street in Calexico. The suspect was arrested and the agents retrieved a plastic container containing 5.5 pounds of methamphetamine, with an estimated value of $10,450. The suspect turned out to be a 16 year old teen. He was deported back to Mexico. The 2nd incident occurred at around 4:22 Wednesday morning. A remote Video Surveillance Operator notified agents of suspected kettleball shaped packages being thrown over the International fence from Mexico. An agent responded and found four kettleball packages near the fence and south of Second Street. The packages contained 4.2 pounds of methamphetamine worth about $7,980. The packages were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
