U. S. Border Patrol agents from the Yuma Sector nabbed illegal aliens from Yemen and Bangladesh this week.
On Tuesday agents patrolling near County Road 17 1/2 and Levee Road apprehended five men who had illegally entered the U.S. from Mexico. It was determined that all five were from Bangladesh. All five were charged with immigration violations.
On Wednesday , agents patrolling near San Luis , Arizona encountered three men who had illegally entered the U.S. from Mexico. It was determined that all three were from Yemen. They were charged with immigration violations.
In all cases , Border Patrol agents were able to determine that none of the individuals detained were on the terrorism watchlist.
