(19 year old shot)…It happened in Yuma.

The result of a Drive-By shooting. Yuma County Sheriff’s Office received a report of shots fired at 11:32 Tuesday night. Deputies responded to the area of 8th Street and Avenue C. Investigators say a red sedan occupied by an unknown suspect stopped next to the victim’s vehicle at the intersection. They say the suspect displayed a handgun and fired multiple rounds at the victim’s vehicle while they were stopped. The suspect vehicle then fled the scene at a high rate of speed. The 19 year old victim was struck by a single round during the incident. He was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center. He was last reported in Stable condition. The Sheriff’s Office is asking for information from anyone who witnessed the incident or have any knowledge of the incident.
