(County obtains ten trailers)…They are to assist the Homeless.
They are provided by the state. Some of the trailers will be used to house homeless people who have tested positive for COVID 19 and are ordered to Shelter at Home. The other trailers are to quarantine of Homeless residents with COVID 19. The trailers will keep them from spreading COVID 19 in the community, and give them a place to receive medical attention, food and other amenities, giving them a chance to recover from the virus. The trailers were obtained under the Governor’s $500 million emergency funding package authorized by the Legislature, with $150 million of that funding set aside for local emergency homeless actions.
