A magnitude 4.5 earthquake shook the Imperil Valley Sunday afternoon.
The U. S. Geological Survey says the 4.5 shaker was recorded at 3:08 p.m. with an epicenter 19 miles north of Ocotillo. A series of over 30 micro-quakes were recorded throughout the afternoon and evening with the strongest a magnitude 3.0 that occurred at about 5:45 p.m. The 4.5 quake was flat all over the Imperial Valley registering a sharp jolt.
