(The shaking continues)…It is in the Coachella Valley, near La Quinta.
The mostly micro quakes are aftershocks from a 4.9 maginitude temblor that struck last week in the Area. The US Geological Survey says the quakes are along the San Jacinto fault, the most active fault in the region. They say the micro activity is not that unusual in that area. There have been 3 minor earthquakes in that area in the past two days. Two on Sunday and one Monday morning. All 3 were magnitude 3.6. No damage or injury has been reported.
