(Fatalities)…Two were reported recently.

Both occurred in off road incidents, the same weekend the State closed public use of State Parks. Both happened Saturday. The first incident was reported at around 10:35 in the morning. An off road vehicle went out of control and crashed into the All American Canal near Drop one. The deceased person has not been identified. The second fatality occurred about an hour later near the Shell Reef at the Ocotillo Wells State Vehicular Recreation Area. That victim has not been identified, either. Both incidents are under investigation.
