(Shooting in El Centro)…It was reported Thursday night.

El Centro Police were called by El Centro Regional Medical Center. They were informed a gunshot victim was at the hospital. Police report the victim had been walking south on 6th Street, approaching Adams Avenue when two suspects approached him and brandished a small silver pistol. They demanded the victim’s wallet. They say the victim turned to run away and was shot in the right elbow. The suspects were described as a Hispanic male 17-20 year old, wearing a grey hooded sweater with a black and white skeleton mask. The 2nd suspect was described as only wearing a black and white skeleton mask. The suspects got away with no property. The victim ran home and was taken to the hospital by family members.
