(Fugitive returned)…Law Enforcement in Mexicali were looking for a homicide suspect.

At 1:00 Tuesday morning a person of interest presented himself for admission into the US at the Calexico Downtown Port of Entry. The man presented a valid visa to cross the border. The man was identified as 30 year old Edgar Reynoso Cervantes. He was a match for the homicide suspect wanted in Mexicali. Law Enforcement in Mexicali was notified and they made all the arrangements to pick up the suspect. The suspect was turned over to Mexican authorities. US Border Patrol officials say this is a great example of the strong working relationships between Mexican authorities and the El Centro Sector Border Patrol.
