El Centro Police were called to the emergency room at El Centro Regional Medical Center. The victim said they were assaulted on East Orange Avenue in El Centro. The suspect was described as a black male, around 50 years of age, with gray hair, about five feet 8 inches tall and weighing around 180 pounds, and last seen wearing dark clothing. The victim was beaten with a silver and blue baseball bat. At last report, the suspect had not been located.
