A small earthquake rattled Borrego Springs Thursday afternoon.

The U.S. Geological Survey measured the quake at 4:57 p.m. with a magnitude 3.3. The epicenter was 8 miles east northeast of Borrego Springs. There were no reports of injury or damage.
