(The 6th Annual Taste of the Valley)….It is this Saturday.
The Annual event is held at the Rollie Carrillo Quad at San Diego State University, Imperial Valley in Calexico. The event is a scholarship fundraiser and an opportunity to socialize and sample specialties from local restaurants. Participating this year will be SDSU President Adela De La Torre, along with SDSU/IV Dean Gregorio Ponce. The event will also commemorate the 60th anniversary of the local campus’ founding in the Imperial Valley. Music at the event will be provided by La Cachimba.
